Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Avsha (operated by Metivity LTD) is committed to making our audio-storytelling app genuinely usable by people of all abilities. Accessibility is not an afterthought here — Avsha is an audio-first product, which makes it naturally friendly to blind and low-vision listeners, and every story ships with a full synced transcript, which makes it readable for deaf and hard-of-hearing users. Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and the Israeli Standard IS 5568 which is based on it.
Conformance Status
Avsha is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most of the app meets the standard, and we list the parts that do not yet under Known Limitations below. This status reflects an internal audit completed in July 2026 covering onboarding, the home/radio experience, the story player and synced transcript, the paywall, and shared-story pages.
What Works Today
- Audio-first by design — every story is fully narrated; the core experience does not require reading the screen.
- Transcripts for every story — a synced, word-highlighted transcript is the default listening view, and shared story pages include the full text.
- Screen-reader labels on all player controls (play, pause, seek, skip, speed, sleep timer) and live announcements for state changes (generating, buffering, now playing).
- Full keyboard operation on the web: tab navigation with visible focus, arrow-key tab bars, a skip-to-content link, and player shortcuts (Space, J/L, arrows, M, T, E).
- Touch targets of at least 44×44 px on interactive controls.
- Reduced-motion support: animations and auto-scrolling respect your system's "reduce motion" setting.
- Dark and light themes with WCAG-checked text contrast, and text that scales with your system font-size settings.
- 28 interface languages, including full right-to-left support for Hebrew and Arabic.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following gaps and are working through them, most within the next two release cycles:
- The interactive map and Street View panels have limited keyboard and screen-reader support (an equivalent audio/text experience exists for all map content).
- Tapping a transcript line to jump the audio is touch/mouse-only; keyboard users can seek with the slider and arrow keys instead.
- Voice-interaction feedback is not yet fully announced to screen readers.
- A few decorative animations do not yet honor reduced-motion in older views.
- Some third-party surfaces (app-store checkout sheets, embedded Street View) are outside our direct control.
Native Apps
The iOS and Android apps share the same accessible interface as the web app and work with VoiceOver and TalkBack. If a screen behaves differently in the app than described here, please tell us — that is a bug we want to fix.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days, and we prioritize fixes that block someone from listening.

המחויבות שלנו
אבשה (מופעלת על ידי מטיביטי בע"מ) מחויבת לכך שאפליקציית סיפורי השמע שלנו תהיה שמישה באמת לאנשים עם כל מגוון היכולות. אבשה היא מוצר מבוסס־שמע — מה שהופך אותה לידידותית באופן טבעי למאזינים עיוורים וכבדי ראייה — וכל סיפור מגיע עם תמליל מסונכרן מלא, כך שהוא נגיש גם לחירשים וכבדי שמיעה. תקן היעד שלנו הוא WCAG 2.1 ברמה AA, והתקן הישראלי ת"י 5568 המבוסס עליו.
מצב התאמה
אבשה תואמת חלקית ל־WCAG 2.1 רמה AA: רוב האפליקציה עומדת בתקן, והחלקים שעדיין לא — מפורטים תחת "מגבלות ידועות". ההצהרה משקפת סקר נגישות פנימי שהושלם ביולי 2026.
מה עובד היום
- שמע תחילה — כל סיפור מוקרא במלואו; החוויה המרכזית אינה דורשת קריאת מסך.
- תמליל לכל סיפור — תמליל מסונכרן עם הדגשת מילים הוא תצוגת ההאזנה כברירת מחדל.
- תוויות קורא־מסך על כל פקדי הנגן והכרזות חיות על שינויי מצב (בהכנה, בהשמעה).
- תפעול מלא במקלדת באתר: ניווט Tab עם פוקוס נראה, קישור דילוג לתוכן וקיצורי נגן.
- אזורי מגע של לפחות 44×44 פיקסלים.
- כיבוד הגדרת "הפחתת תנועה" של המערכת.
- ערכת נושא כהה ובהירה עם ניגודיות טקסט שנבדקה מול התקן.
- 28 שפות ממשק, כולל תמיכה מלאה בעברית ובערבית מימין לשמאל.
מגבלות ידועות
- למפה האינטראקטיבית ולתצוגת הרחוב תמיכה חלקית במקלדת ובקורא מסך (לכל תוכן מפה קיימת חלופת שמע/טקסט).
- קפיצה בשמע בהקשה על שורת תמליל זמינה במגע/עכבר בלבד; במקלדת ניתן לנווט עם פס ההתקדמות.
- משוב האינטראקציה הקולית עדיין לא מוכרז במלואו לקוראי מסך.
- חלק מהמשטחים של צד שלישי (מסכי תשלום של חנויות האפליקציות) אינם בשליטתנו הישירה.
